How To Get Younger Women To Notice You After 50

No comments :
Older men are making a
comeback. Mark my words.
Just look at Robert Downey
Jr and George Clooney ,
they’re in their prime and
women can’t stop swooning
over them. These men are
well into their years but keep
getting better looking as each
year passes. What’s their
secret? And how can
regular men like you and I
make it work for us?
Two weeks ago I met up with
Mark Tomlinson. I heard so
much about this man through
several forums that I had to
meet him to see if the claims
were true. The word was that
he’s 64 years old and doesn’t
look a day over 40.
After a few email exchanges
we met at a coffee shop off
Randolph St. in Chicago,
Illinois. It was true. He did
not look 64 at all. I couldn’t
believe the man I was talking
to looked younger than me,
and I’m 53 years old! When
we ordered our coffees I got
offered the senior discount
and he didn’t...
After a good laugh, he said
“hey I wish I could save 50
cents on my cup! Instead I
pay full price because when I
ask I always end up having
an awkward conversation
with the barista who doesn’t
believe how old I am”.
After a few minutes of staring
in disbelief, I asked the
question: “What’s your
secret?!”
He laughed. “Well, I don’t tell
very many people my secret
because it’s kind of
embarrassing, but I actually
use something I found in my
wife’s nightstand” he
continued “Her name is Pam,
she has the patience to spend
countless hours scouring the
internet, magazines and
doctor-based talk shows to
find out what products all the
celebrities are using and
what actually works.. she
follows Oprah’s Favorite
Things religiously!”
I couldn’t agree more. It
made sense. “What did you
use?” I asked. Containing my
excitement was a daunting
task.“I began to religiously
use a product called LifeCell
All-in-One Anti Aging
Treatment. My wife has been
using it for 10 years and still
looks just as beautiful as the
day we met, so I figured what
the heck? Let’s give it a shot.
And guess what? I’ve never
looked back. It has absolutely
everything you need to look
younger. Dermatologists
swear by it and recommend
it to their patients”
After my afternoon with
Mark, I decided to do some
more research into what
LifeCell was all about. I found
that this All-in-One Anti
Aging Treatment was
formulated to reverse the
look of wrinkles and sagging
skin with a patented scientific
cocktail of youth preserving
ingredients that had
undergone years of clinical
and government testing that
plastic surgeons don’t want
the public to know about.
LifeCell is made up of
carefully sourced amounts of
Vitamin C, DMAE and Retinol
that work together to reverse
the signs of aging.
Mark told us that after just
two weeks of using LifeCell,
people at his firm were
asking if he had “got some
work done”. By the 4th week,
everyone was convinced he
was using more than just
skin care products.
Mark purchased his LifeCell
Anti-Aging Treatment directly
from the manufacturer. They
offer a 120-Day Money Back
Guarantee. Something we've
never heard before! Upon
hearing about the story being
written up about Mark and
his results, LifeCell offered a

What is your perfect pet?

No comments :

High energy

If you bounce out of bed each morning full of energy, you’ll need a pet that can keep up! A dog will not disappoint; look for a breed to suit your living arrangements. Jack Russell Terriers, Border Collies, and Boston Terriers are just a few of the high-energy breeds which could be your perfect match. Be warned: if you don’t have time to give your pooch the daily exercise it needs, he/she might take it out on your garden!

Chris Brown not eating, sleeping, going crazy in jail

No comments :
Chris Brown is cracking under pressure according to tales from his time in lock-up...

Sources tell Hollywood Life
“It’s bad, all bad for Chris. He’s not doing well at all.”
“He’s not eating, not sleeping, and he’s out of his mind. He talks to himself. He’s tired and frustrated and feels like he’s trapped like a small hamster in a cage.”
“He only drinks water and the watered-down orange juice they give him. They slide him peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or bread with some five-year-old baloney, but he doesn’t eat that. He wouldn’t even let his dogs eat that. Chris is suffering. He’s going crazy. He has been stripped of everything. He doesn’t even have underwear on. He’s got nothing and no one.”

Wizkid and girlfriend Tania Omotayo have parted ways?

No comments :
According to a Punch report, Wizkid and his longtime girlfriend, Tania Omotayo have parted ways. I don't know how true this is, if I were in Nigeria, I would have been able to find out ASAP! Anyway, if it's not true, I'm sure either Wizkid or Tania will refute the story on social media. But will bring an update on this later...(like some of you care lol).. for now read the Punch report below...
Before now, sensational singer, Wizkid and his pretty babe, Tania Omotayo, used to be an item. But it seems things are no longer at ease between the young couple.
In fact, it looks like they have carried their ‘beef’ to the social media going by what they posted on their Instagram pages earlier in the week.
Tania had posted a picture with the caption, ‘just because you love somebody so much does not mean they are the right one for you.

[CELEBRITY BIO] Paul & Peter Okoye a.k.a. P-Square’s Full Biography

No comments :

P-Square are a Nigerian R&B duo composed of identical twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye. They produce and release their albums through Square Records. In December 2011, they were also signed to Akon’s Konvict Muzik label. In May 2012, they also signed a record distribution deal with Universal Music South Africa.

History
The story of P-Square began in St. Murumba secondary school, a small Catholic school in Jos, Nigeria. Identical twins Peter and Paul joined their school music and drama club where they began singing, dancing, and mimicking songs by MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson.
They later formed an a cappella quartet called “MMMPP” (M Clef a.k.a. Itemoh, Michael, Melvin, Peter and Paul). Drawing inspiration from their music idol Michael Jackson, they began break dancing, formed the group called “Smooth Criminals” in 1997. They dropped M Clef from the group “MMMPP” which later was changed to “MMPP”. Their artistic talent and precise dance routine soon made them household names in the city of Jos, where they performed at school functions and other occasions.
Later in 1999, Peter and Paul returned to music school to develop their skills on keyboard, drums, bass and rhythm guitar. Their work includes the soundtracks for a number of films like Tobi, Mama Sunday, Moment of Bitterness and Evas River.
Later in 1999, they applied to the University of Abuja to study Business Administration. The Smooth Criminals disbanded when its members left to various other universities. Subsequently Peter and Paul formed their own group, variously called “Double P”, “P&P”, and “Da Pees”, until they eventually settled on “P Square”. They are managed by Bayo Odusami aka Howie T, a seasoned concert promoter and the CEO of Adrot Nigeria Limited.
In 2001, “P-Square” won the “Grab Da Mic” competition, and hence Benson & Hedges sponsored their debut album, titled Last Nite, which was released under Timbuk2 music label. P-Square was also nominated as “Most Promising African Group” in the Kora Awards three months after the release of their debut album. They eventually won the 2003 Amen Award for “Best R&B Group”.
In 2005, P Square released their second album, Get Squared under their own label, Square Records. This album was marketed nationwide by TJoe Enterprises, although they were still managed by Howie T of Adrot Nigeria Limited. The video for the second album held the #1 position on the MTV Base chart for four straight weeks.
They have an ever growing fan base across South Africa with a particular stronghold of die hard fans in Cape Town.
The group has performed alongside the following international artists like Ginuwine, Sean Paul, Akon and Busola Keshiro. The members of P Square are now located in Lagos.
Late in 2007, they released their best selling album so far, Game Over. It has sold 8 million copies worldwide.
In 2009, P-Square released their fourth studio album, Danger. The album features collaborations with 2 Face Idibia, J Martins and Frenzy. The first single called “Danger” is a hip hop song with cutting synths and a frog bass baseline similar to an Eminem song. The video affirms this with the presence of clowns and staggered movements in front of the camera reminiscent of comical videos by Eminem. They are also known for the close resemblance which the twins have to American R&B Superstar, Usher Raymond.
On 4 April 2010, P-Square was named the Artist of the Year at the KORA All Africa Music Awards in Ouagadougou, Burkina-Faso while they were in London for a Concert at the Troxy, and they received a whopping sum of $1 Million Dollars as the Award Winners, in Ebebiyin City.
Controversies
The duo are reported to handle most of their production/beat making in house. The band has been faced with many controversies for their habit of sampling western songs and popular hits in their records. They have addressed the issue many times in interviews as well as in the lyrics of their songs. Technically speaking, P Square does more in the line of reconstructing the drum patterns, chord progressions or lyrics of the sampled songs as against actually cutting parts of the song and directly sampling into their production. This accounts for the largely electronic feel of their sound.
Some of the songs which have been called up on this account include “Get Squared”, “Game Over”, “Danger” and others.
P-Square attracted headlines because they reportedly turned irate when they were notified by organisers in the middle of their performance at the Guinness Show about some change in plans which would affect the length of their performance, and that of the next act, 2 Face Idibia. As reported by a news site vanguardngr.com, the info apparently stirred up resentment as Peter immediately said “I don’t know why, anytime a foreign artiste comes to Nigeria, they (show organizers) wanna treat us like slaves in our country”. Although initially they continued their performance but midway through, they threw their microphones to the ground and angrily stormed out of the stage saying, “We are leaving; they don’t want 2face to come on stage”. They were said to have immediately left the premises of the show, but after intervention of the show organisers, they came on stage later with 2face for a performance, but later on were apologised to.
Paul Okoye, one half of the musical duo, P-Square, was involved in a paternity scandal with a lady named Elshamah Igbanoi. The lady claimed Paul impregnated her; Paul denied the pregnancy and went for a paternity test.
Personal life
On 8 August 2013, Peter Okoye got engaged to his long time girlfriend, Lola Omotayo. On November 17, 2013, the two held their traditional wedding at The Ark in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. Public figures who attended the wedding include Aliko Dangote, Emmanuel Adebayor, Kate Henshaw, Genevieve Nnaji, Rukky Sanda, Folorunsho Alakija, May D, Toke Makinwa, Dr SID, Don Jazzy, and Karen Igho among others.

Popular OAP In Nigeria Toke Makinwa Disgraced On Air

No comments :

Toke Makinwa Disgraced On Air, If you remove your weaves, your fake eye lashes, your make-up, the push up bra and especially your bleached skin, people will run

It seems a presenter with Rhythm 93.7 Lagos has been laughing at Toke Makinwa‘s flat b00bs secretly and he has also been waiting for her to say anything that’ll upset him so he can wash her thoroughly. And his wish came to pass recently as Toke couldn’t control her mouth when she and the guy were in the studio.

Toke told Nanya Diali to his face that his shirt is fake, the guy got pissed off and blasted her:”Everything about you from head to toe is fake,” he replied her. Toke Makinwa couldn’t believe her Ears so she asked the guy to explain himself. “What do you mean? Please explain yourself,” she insisted.

And the guy went on: “If you remove your weaves, your fake eye lashes, your make-up, the push up bra and especially your bleached skin, people will run…

“In fact, Toke Makinwa, you have no single natural beauty, you are totally fake”, he added.

I hear the statement hit Toke so hard that she couldn’t even say any word to the guy but keep shut in studio.

Togo gets tough on ivory smugglers

No comments :

iol news pic 2 Togo Ivory Arrests
Lome - Togo is intensifying its efforts to crack down on ivory trafficking after a number of large seizures, warning smugglers that the country will no longer be a staging post for the illegal trade.
In the past week alone, nearly four tons of ivory have been discovered at the tiny West African nation's main port in the capital, Lome, following other large seizures last year.
The discoveries came after African and Asian nations pledged last month to introduce urgent measures to tackle the illegal ivory trade, from the slaughter of elephants to the trafficking of tusks.
The meeting in Botswana in December agreed to implement a “zero tolerance” approach to wildlife crime and international co-operation to shut down criminal gangs involved in the practice.
On January 23, nearly 1.7 tons of ivory was found in a shipping container bound for Vietnam from Lome, while on Thursday, a further 2.1 tons were discovered during a search of the same shipment.
Three people have been arrested, two of them Togolese nationals and the third a Vietnamese man.
Togo's environment and forest resources minister, Andre Johnson, told AFP: “Investigations are ongoing to ensure that the network is completely dismantled.
“Togo has today become one of the transit countries for these shameless traffickers.”
Elephants, the world's largest land mammals, are one of Africa's biggest tourist attractions and are found across the continent.
But numbers have fallen from 10 million in 1900 and 1.2 million in 1980 to about 500 000 currently, according to conservation groups.
Trade in ivory was banned in 1989 under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
CITES and other animal protection groups have warned that as many as 20 percent of the continent's elephants could disappear within a decade if current poaching rates are not tackled.
An estimated 22 000 elephants were killed illegally in Africa in 2012, the groups said.
Demand for tusks, particularly in Asia for decorative purposes and use in traditional medicines, has fuelled a lucrative illicit trade thought to be worth up to $10 billion a year.
The proceeds are said to often fund militia and rebel groups.
Paul Dogboe, the head of the Togolese environmental and animal protection group Horizon Vert, said they were “very worried” about ivory smuggling in Africa and particularly in Togo.
Johnson blamed “well-equipped and often heavily armed criminal networks” for the trade, adding: “Our country will not tolerate trafficking in objects of endangered species.
“This is why we, in close collaboration with some friendly nations including the United States, France and China, are having a serious crackdown.
“We shall also try to harmonise our strategies with those of other countries in the region.”
A senior police officer in charge of tackling drug-trafficking and money-laundering in Togo, Kodjo Katanga Yeleneke, has said that “tons” of ivory have previously left Lome for Indonesia.
As a result Togo's port authorities have increased checks on shipping containers, using specialist security agents, forest rangers and police.
“The check on containers is very rigorous for some time now. All the containers must be scanned before sending them to the terminal for export,” said one port customs officer.
Agents from the country's anti-drug-trafficking and money-laundering agency also carry out unscheduled checks in Lome, including shops, he added.
Last August, 700kg of ivory - most of it from Chad - was seized from a locally owned shop in Lome, while another suspected trafficker, a Guinean, was found with 25kg of ivory.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubaka dumps PDP for APC in Nigeria

No comments :
Atiku1dp-300x239The former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will mid next week dump his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
We gathered yesterday that the decision to take the action and leave the party which gave him a platform to be Nigeria’s Vice President, was borne out of the frustration and humiliation the PDP has made him go through, just as he has concluded nationwide consultative tours of the six geo- political zones of the country where he brainstormed with stakeholders, leaders and supporters on his next political journey ahead of 2015 Presidential election.
A source at his Jabi office told us yesterday that Atiku Abubakar has concluded plans to leave PDP for APC, adding, “ I am optimistic that he will formally leave PDP for APC next week,”
The 2011 Presidential aspirant on the platform of PDP has in the last two weeks visited associates, stakeholders, leaders, Elders in the South South, South East, South West, North Central, North West and North East geo- political zones of the country where majority of them voted for him leaving PDP for APC. Atiku had raised some grievances against the PDP and substantiated his marginalization of not being wanted, even as he stressed that he is a BOT member by right but he is not being called to its meetings and so does not attend, adding that he is a NEC member by right under the constitution, but he has been barred from its meetings because invitations are not given to him.
He also complained that by the norms of the party, he is entitled to being invited to its PDP caucus and said that Dr. Alex Ekwueme, a former Vice President gets those invitations, but he gets none of those, adding that he is not considered as a major stakeholder in taking decisions affecting the Adamawa State Chapter of the party.
Atiku had said last week that, “there is a sustained effort by the party managers and government to entrench impunity and not to open up the party for democratic competition. Above all these, it is clear by now that the Governors who have remained in the party have given Dr. Jonathan an automatic ticket.”
The former Presidential candidate of Action Congress, ACN said last week that as a member of a party that changed to Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, and formed a coalition called APC, he will not be a new person in APC as that is a familiar terrain if he finally joins them because his friends are mostly there and as a party, it offers what he described as a real chance for change and reform in the country.
He said, “The citizens are tired of business as usual and seem determined to change from business as usual. He wants to be on the side of the people.”
In a statement he issued last week and titled, “The Challenges of a Decision,” the former Presidential aspirant on the platform of PDP noted that he has begun consultation tour of Nigeria, Dubai and London, even as he said that there was what he termed a sustained effort by the party managers and government to entrench impunity and its lack of preparedness to open up the party for democratic competition, adding that his decision to defect to APC may be borne out of the fact that Governors elected on the platform of PDP have already given an automatic ticket to President Goodluck Jonathan for his re- election bid.
Meanwhile, a statement from his office to Saturday Vanguard yesterday said that the former Vice President yesterday concluded his nationwide consultative meeting with that of the North-East geo-political zone in Bauchi.

Nigeria Marks Armed Forces Remembrance Day; Jan.15 2014

No comments :
Armed Forces Remembrance Day is a day set aside to remember and honour Nigerians who lost their lives in the course of their service to the country and peace keeping operations across the globe.
It is also a time to appreciate those discharged and retired.Indeed, remembering the fallen heroes is the least the nation and Nigerians can do in respect of the supreme sacrifice they make, not only for national unity, but also for the promotion of global peace and territorial protection.
GrandFinaleof2013ArmedForcesRemembranceDayinIbadan1As Nigeria marks this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day, it has become imperative for governments to re-appraise the gains of the yearly ritual. This has become necessary as the lot of the dependants of the fallen heroes and Legionaries (retired military personnel from Army, Navy and Airforce) appear to fall short, inspite of the yearly ritual.
The yearly event is organised to commemorate the end of the Nigerian civil war on January 15, 1970 and honour military personnel that lost their lives in the line of duty.
In Kwara State, retired soldiers called on the Nigerian government to effect the increment of 35 per cent in their monthly pension due to them since three years ago.
The event took place at the Metro Park Ilorin and was attended by the state governor, Abdulfattah Ahmed.
Governor Ahmed inspected the guard of honour and laid a wreath in memory of the fallen heroes.
The Remembrance Day was therefore moved from November to January because the Federal Government thought it wise that the Armed Forces Remembrance Day would be more meaningfully if it is celebrated in honour of the men and women who gave their lives fighting for the unity of the country rather than honouring soldiers who fought for the British Empire.
Nevertheless, Nigerians who were enlisted in the British constabulary and were drafted to Europe to partake in World Wars I and II are not left out of the Remembrance Day celebrations which is also used in remembering all the other officers, men and women of the Nigerian armed forces who have paid the ultimate sacrifice maintaining peace at home and in other parts of the globe where they had been deployed on peace keeping missions.
In keeping with these constitutional responsibilities, Nigerians from all parts of the country have in the discharge of their duties as officers and men and women of the Nigerian armed forces, stood side by side as comrades in arms in the defence of the country. It is noteworthy that the Nigerian armed forces have since its establishment, fought in a civil war to keep the territorial integrity of the country intact as well as participated in several peacekeeping operations around the world.
