40 Candidates Write FIFA Players’ Agents Test
No fewer than 40 candidates yesterday took part in the yearly ‘FIFA Players’ Agents’ examination organised by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja.Okey Obi, NFF’s director on legal matter and supervisor of the examination, said successful candidates would help discover talented footballers for the country. “What we intent to achieve by this examination is to license the successful candidates who will help to discover and guide raw talents from the grassroots.
“There is an eligibility provision in the ‘Players Agent’ regulations which you need to meet before you participate in the exams. One is that you have to be a natural person in the sense of my name is Okey Obi; Okey Obi to get the license and not Okey Obi and company or all those kind of things.
“You should not have connection with a club, academy, football association like the NFF, State FA or local government football association, CAF, FIFA or hold any kind of position there,” he stated.
